Work Incentive Planning and Assistance |
|
Welcome to Benefits Planning
at Employment Works!
Recently, the Social Security
Administration renamed this program to Work Incentive
Planning and Assistance (WIPA). The reason for the
name change is based on one simple concept of the program.
Rather than informing you about your benefits and then
sending you on your way, we would love the opportunity to
discuss further with you available resources that may lead
towards employment, if this is the path you choose.
Understanding the relationship
between your Social Security benefits and employment is
crucial to making the most informed decision that you can.
Our staff is trained and certified by the
Social Security Administration and are happy to discuss your
benefits and what employment may mean for you.

If
you are currently receiving Social Security Benefits, you
may have some of the following questions:
|
Are you the parent or
loved one of someone who is currently receiving benefits?
|
|
|
|
- How
can I can go back to work and retain benefits?
|
- Will your
child/student's benefits change at the age of eighteen?
|
-
Are there limitations on earnings or hours worked?
|
- Does your income still
affect your eighteen year olds benefits?
|
- What about my Medicaid
and/or Medicare?
|
- Can your child's income
affect his or her benefits?
|
- Is a PASS
PLAN right for me?
|
- Did you know your
child/student can work without losing medical or cash
benefits?
|
- Should I go
back to work?
|
|
- Are there any incentive out there that can help me
ease off of my benefits while I attempt to go back to
work?
